In the past, mechanical keyboards were often viewed as a male hobby in Japan, but recently they have become increasingly popular with women, partly due to the expansion of the gaming scene and the popularity of desk setups.
However, what you may be faced with is the lack of cute key caps.
KAT Milkshake” solves all these problems at once.
Available in white or navy base, you will surely be able to create the keyboard of your choice.
We will review it as soon as possible.

KAT Milkshake Overview
KAT Milkshake is a set of keycaps designed by Biip.
The KAT profile has a spherical design with the key tops aspherically depressed toward the center, and the lateral slope is more gentle than that of Cherry, so that the fingers are less likely to be caught even when the typing style is to slide between key tops.
After all, what makes Milkshake unique is the pop of color and cute fruit icons on the accent key caps.
The Base kit also comes with colored keycaps with fruit icons, but if you want to decorate function keys and other keys, we recommend purchasing the Fruit kit.
Thus, it is very nice to have keycaps for each slope so that accent keycaps are available for any row.
The number of kits is very large, with a space bar kit available for each of the base colors Light/Dark, and a total of five keycap sets when combined with the aforementioned fruit kits.

Now let’s take a look at the actual photos.
The product reviewed here is Dark Base.
Presumably, the exterior package color matches the contents, with the impression that a dark base would result in a dark-colored package.
Only the fruit kit came in a white box.
Although we say dark base, the actual keycap color is navy, which is very different from the promotional photo.
The navy color is “there” for what it is, but you should be very careful if you buy it with black in mind.
The keycap set is also slightly different from the current lineup and may have been modified after release.
Some of the legends are colored as shown below, but no colored legend keycaps were included.
Fruit 1u-size keycaps are fun enough to keep side by side.
All keycaps, including the fruit keycaps, are double-shot (two-color molding).
There is no worry about the legend disappearing due to wear over time, and it has a beautiful, clear appearance.
This time I installed it on a keyboard called cool536lc.
The case cover was chosen to be a similar color, light blue.
In this way, the navy keycap looks good with a blue case of the same color.
Accent fruit key caps also add a pop of color.
Then, let’s also look at matching in the dark blue case.
The navy keycap was a bit difficult to handle, and I got the impression that it would not fit in a black case.
However, a slightly bluish black case like this one will match without a problem.
summary
This is my review of the KAT Milkshake keycap.
This is a very popular keycap set and is noticeably sold out.
If you find it in stock, you may have less regret buying it.
I would like to confirm the dark base keycap color, as there may be a change from navy.
