Gravity45 Aluminium Case-Designed by Skelton Keyboard

The aluminum case exclusively for Gravity45 was designed by Skelton Keyboard.

The design has a large area in line with the “design that enjoys margins” trend of takashicompany, the designer of the Gravity45, and its width is about 344 mm, about the same as a 65% layout keyboard.

Its margins provide a special typing experience with a full sense of inorganic metal.

Floating Mount Design

-Soft keystroke feel contrary to appearance

Despite the appearance of a rugged hunk of metal, the Gravity45 aluminum case provides a soft hitting feel.

The secret lies in the uniquely designed “floating mount design.

MountPin, a tadpole-inspired mounting component designed uniquely for Skelton Keyboard, functions as if the board were floating in mid-air.

This allows the silicone poles to absorb the impact of keystrokes, resulting in a soft keystroke feel.

The Gravity45 aluminum case is also designed so that the tadpole can be used in the same way as the MountPin, so you can choose the softness that suits your preference.

The Gravity45 aluminum case is a two-piece design.

The total weight of the result of the heavy two-piece aluminum construction is approximately 1.2 kg.

Limited Black Parts

The switch plate and board color used for Gravity45 is unified to “black” unlike the regular line.

Unlike the regular line, it gives a more premium impression.

The rugged silver color not only looks great on any keycap, but also stands out as special in any desk environment.

Fixing the Gravity45 two-piece case requires only four screws.
