Applications will be accepted from Friday, November 14, 2025 at 18:00 until Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 23:59.
The GB page is already available and the two main variations available for purchase are as follows
- Hot-swappable/wireless PCB: ¥23,100 (tax included)
- Hot-swappable/wired PCB: ¥20,460 (tax included)
Note that keycaps and key switches are not included in the standard kit and must be prepared by the customer.
As for keycaps, the ” PBS Crispin Minimi40 Keyset ” is available as an option, and as for keyswitches, they can be purchased on the DIGIART website.

KawamuraIt is also technically certified, so you can use it with peace of mind!
What is Minimi40?

The Minimi40 is a 40% custom mechanical keyboard designed by designer Keebibi.
This layout is popular in the homebrew keyboard community, but compared to a typical keyboard, it has no number lines and the right side of the layout is greatly reduced.
KawamuraThese missing keys are entered using the layer keys.
If the key currently visible is on “Layer 0”, place the missing keys on “Layer 1” and “Layer 2”.
This allows typing while maintaining the home position as much as possible.
It is characterized by a “minimalist layout that achieves both space-saving and portability by reducing the number of keys to the minimum necessary,” and as such, when compared to regular keyboards, it is best to purchase based on the “layering concept.
The top cover is removable, so-called “bento box style”.
When the lid is removed, it can be used as a wrist rest.

If you are using a tall CherryMX Switch, using a palm rest will reduce the strain on your wrist, but it will increase your luggage if you have to carry it around.
In this regard, the Minimi40 would be very convenient because it can carry a set of palm rests as well.
Minimi40 has the following features
- Ultra compact 40% layout
- Lowe staggered/ortholithic linear array support
- Wide variety of colors
- PCB configurations available, including a choice of technically certified wireless PCBs
- Hybrid structure mount
- Comes with a nice portable accessory
1. ultra compact 40% layout
The Minimi40 has an “ultra compact” layout.
As mentioned at the beginning of this section, you have to pay the switching cost of “restriction for small size (layered input method),” but the main feature is that the space occupied in the depth direction is small, making it easy to install next to a notebook PC or on a narrow desk.
It is a keyboard that “looks good” when used on the go or with mobile applications.
KawamuraWell, it looks almost like a lunch box.
It can be used for the best stories.
2. two types of Lowe staggered/ortholithic sequences are supported

The Minimi40 offers two layout options depending on the PCB.
- Lowe staggered arrangement with general key step displacement
- Straight rows in an orthogonal array
Although the DIGIART website refers to it as a “staggered array,” we refer to it as a “row staggered layout” in accordance with its common name.
Each board supports multiple layouts, and Lowe Staggard also offers a choice of two split space bar sizes, as well as a 6.25u size regular standard space bar.
It is also attractive to be able to switch between 1.25u and 1.0u for the part that corresponds to the right shift.
For the linear layout, the center space bar can be switched to a 2u-1x1u layout.
KawamuraIt is a great advantage that the PCB can be purchased separately as well as Cannonkeys, the vendor in its home country. You can also switch layouts depending on your mood.
Another major attraction of the PCBs is that they can be used in Japan with confidence, as they include PCBs that are compatible with wireless connectivity and have acquired technical certification.(Certification number: R018-180280)

Summary|How about taking this opportunity to debut 40%?
The 40% layout keyboard remains a niche category in Japan, though,
- Case-integrated top cover
- Wireless PCB with technical certification
- Lineup of PCBs compatible with EC switches
There are not yet many examples of combining these elements into one kit.
For users looking for a “40% keyboard you can take with you,” or for builders who want to try both staggered/autolonics, this could be a pretty interesting option.
