Presumably, the lowest price, 25% off, corresponds to what crowdfunding calls a “super early bird” discount.

Thus, even the least expensive titanium black is priced close to 40,000 yen. Given the fact that the standard price quotations for famous brand keycaps are between 10,000 yen and 20,000 yen, it is no wonder that people think they are expensive.
However, considering that it is priced at $300.00 (about 46,200 yen) overseas, you will find that the super-early bird price is very inexpensive.
The reason for such high prices is most likely due to the materials used in the keycaps and the processing costs.
While ordinary plastic keycaps are mass-produced using a technique called “injection molding,” in which resin is poured into a mold and formed, Awekeys’ metal keycaps are machined and formed from metal, which may be more labor-intensive and costly.
KawamuraAs someone who has ordered CNC aluminum machining for myself, I am amazed that it can be made at this price.
That is how expensive metalworking can be.
It is rather inexpensive.
In short, those who would want to purchase this keycap would be those who are looking for “value over price” in a keycap.
In other words, metal keycaps are “romance” itself.
It is a product for those who are willing to pay for romance….
