On October 15, 2025, Jezail Funder Japan updated its official X to announce the release of v1.8, the latest Vial firmware for the Cornix LP, a left-right split keyboard sold and handled by the company.

The three main changes are as follows

  • Fn1(Fn3) and Fn2(Fn3) support
  • Added support for LM (Layer Mod) function
  • Added version number display

I’ll leave you to implement the MOD-TAP option.

Cornix LP is a low-profile mechanical keyboard with a 40% left-right split layout with fully wireless connectivity that was GB at the end of May 2025 at Yousha Kobo.

With its aluminum housing but affordable price point, the X timeline has been buzzing since October 8, when the GB product arrived in users’ hands.

Recently, it has become even more popular after being featured by influencer ” Kensu,” who has more than 300,000 followers.

Extra Stock is scheduled to be sold at Yousha Kobo on October 18, but I expect it to be a hotly contested event.
