We have expanded our product lineup beyond the traditional URSA-centered selection, and customers can now purchase eight different keycap profiles—compatible with MX, Kailh Choc, and Topre switches, as well as capacitive (non-contact) switches—all from a single website.

To celebrate our relaunch, we are currently running a promotion offering free shipping worldwide on orders over $50 through September 30, 2026.

PFF and LPF are compatible not only with standard MX switches but also with low-profile switches that use MX stems, such as Cherry MX Low Profile, Gateron Low Profile, Kailh Choc V2, and Huano Low Profile.

On the other hand, the Kailh Choc V1 series and MX series differ in stem shape and key pitch.

Before purchasing, you need to check compatibility with the key switches and keycaps you are currently using.

Making it easier to find keycaps for split and Ortholinear layouts

FKcaps is a brand that focuses on configurations that are difficult to accommodate with standard keyboard sets, such as split-left/right, staggered-column, ortholinear, and low-profile keyboards.

In the new official store, you can filter products by compatible switch types and profiles. Now, you can find not only full sets but also blank keycaps, individual keycaps, and kits for split keyboards—all in one place.

You can filter by switch type

One of its key features is the ability to compare keycaps across different switch types—such as MBK and KLP Lamé for Kailh Choc switches, and URSA for Topre switches—where options tend to be limited.

A guide to choosing keycaps has also been published

Along with the site redesign, FKcaps has also published a guide on how to choose keycaps.

In addition to comparing the height and shape of each profile, you can learn about the differences between MX, Kailh Choc, and Topre switches, as well as how to choose keycaps suitable for split-layout, ortholinear, and column-staggered keyboards.

Since it explains not only keycap height but also differences in stem shape and key pitch, it should be a helpful reference even if you’re buying overseas-made keycaps for the first time.

Summary

That concludes our announcement regarding the FKcaps website redesign.

Through September 30, 2026, enter the coupon code “HELLOWORLD” to receive free international shipping on orders over $50.

If you’re purchasing FKcaps keycaps from Japan, this seems like a good time to keep shipping costs down.

Since URSA keycaps, in particular, are rare keycaps compatible with Topre switches, they’re definitely worth checking out for RealForce and HHKB users.
