Gravity45 third-party Vial version firmware updated for the third time

On September 16, 2025, @karbou_12, the creator of the Vial version of Gravity45 firmware, announced that he has updated his X and released a version with new features.

The previous version had a function to change the center LED color depending on the layer, and the following functions have been added in this update.

  • Added ON/OFF function for color switching of the central LED
  • Each layer can be changed to any color.
  • Added setting reset function
  • Changed to allow users to set default layers for each OS

In implementing unique functions, updates have been made throughout, including the addition of unique buttons.

Also not to be missed is the detailed explanation of how to port keymaps set up in Remap to Vial.

Usually, when it comes to firmware for such keyboards, we do not see many cases of using keymap modification applications outside of a specific mechanism.

The fact that volunteers can participate in this way and customize their own keyboards may be one of the interesting aspects of self-made keyboards.
