On September 10, 2026, ZOZO announced its second collaboration with the “Happy Hacking Keyboard (HHKB),” a keyboard designed for programmers.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the HHKB brand, four styles—including T-shirts, sweatshirts, and tote bags—will be available for pre-order exclusively on ZOZOTOWN starting at noon on September 16, 2026.
The order period ends at 11:59 a.m. on October 7.
We plan to ship the product in late December 2026.
This marks the second collaboration between HHKB and ZOZOTOWN. During the “Great Otherworld” collaboration in November 2025, they offered T-shirts, long-sleeve T-shirts, sweatshirts, and caps for pre-order.

Greenkeys attended the “HHKB User Meetup Vol. 9,” where the first collaboration was announced, to cover the event.

A sweatshirt that embodies the HHKB philosophy in TypeScript code

The new “HAPPY CODING SWEAT” features a graphic inspired by fingers typing on a keyboard.
The text incorporated into the design consists of code written in the programming language “TypeScript” by the tech lead engineers responsible for ZOZO’s front-end development.
A single English sentence is constructed using “type-level programming,” which performs calculations based solely on type definitions.
It’s designed so that the HHKB philosophy becomes clear as you decipher the code.
KawamuraThis is definitely something for connoisseurs.
I’m not very familiar with programming myself, but I’d like to try figuring this out a bit…
This item could be described as emblematic of this collaboration, which brings together keyboards and programming.
Items featuring the original logo are also making a comeback

The “OLD LOGO TEE – 30th EDITION” and “OLD LOGO TOTE BAG – 30th EDITION” feature the original logo used when the HHKB brand was first launched in 1996.

A design that combines the original logo with dot-matrix text inspired by 1990s computers.
This design was also popular in the first collaboration with ZOZOTOWN in 2025, and it appears it will be making a comeback this time as a 30th-anniversary edition T-shirt and tote bag.
In addition, the back of the “RETRO FUTURE graphic TEE” features a quote from Professor Emeritus Eiichi Wada of the University of Tokyo, which lies at the heart of the HHKB design philosophy.
A 30th-anniversary sticker is included with each purchase

For every eligible item purchased, you’ll receive a set of three HHKB stickers.
The set includes the following items:
- HHKB 30th Anniversary Logo Stickers: 2 stickers
- Original HHKB Logo Sticker: 1 sticker
If you purchase multiple items, you will receive one set per item.
This is a 30th-anniversary promotional item that is also featured in the 30th-anniversary partner collaboration project announced by PFU on the same day.
Summary
That concludes our coverage of the second collaboration between HHKB and ZOZOTOWN.
I feel that ZOZO, as a fashion brand, and HHKB, as a keyboard, actually have a surprising number of things in common.
“A keyboard is a fashion item that boosts motivation at work.”
These are the words of assu_ from ZOZO, who spoke at the HHKB User Meetup Vol. 9.
In addition, ZOZO itself is a technology company with its own engineering team.
Keyboards and Fashion.
The HHKB is a tool for typing programs, and it is also beloved by employees at tech companies as “a fashion accessory.”
It seems safe to say that this collaboration item symbolizes the common ground between the two companies—a connection that could only have been forged by these two specific firms.
