On November 13, 2025, Elecom issued a news release announcing the HUGE PLUS, the first fully remodeled large HUGE series trackball in eight years, and the reissue of the bitra, the company’s most compact trackball ever.
HUGE PLUS is expected to cost around 19,980 yen, or 12,980 yen including tax, and as a pre-launch campaign, pre-order pricing is available for a limited time.

Large-sized trackball “HUGE PLUS” – renewed with bearing support and multiple connections
Released in 2017, the HUGE model has been a long seller in Japan and abroad as an index finger operated model with a palm rest to support the wrist and a large 52mm diameter ball.
The new “HUGE PLUS” is the successor to the “HUGE PLUS” and supports multiple connections.
The main points are as follows
- Support unit with Minebea-Mitsumi bearings
The structure supports the ball with multiple bearings, enabling smoother ball manipulation than before. Ultra-compact trackball “bitra” – reissued in white with additional white and multi-connection support
Announced on the same day, “bitra” is a reissue of the portable trackball that was introduced in 2019.
Approximately two years after the previous model was discontinued, it will reappear with enhanced mobile applications, including support for multiple connections and the addition of a white housing.

Lineup of replacement balls for each product

- For bitra, silver replacement balls with diameters of 25mm and 34mm have been newly developed, and the company claims that they have adopted a coating layer and color that makes it easier for the sensor to detect movement.
