A system that allows typing like a full-size keyboard with fewer keys.
Typing on a keyboard with only 36 physical keys, just like a regular keyboard, can be achieved by having multiple “layers.
There are a total of four layers in Gravity36, and by starting from the default layer, “Layer 0,” and moving to each layer, it is possible to virtually press almost any key.
The following is a suggested keymap as a default.
You could use this as a basis for your own “convenient” key map.
About Key Map Creation
- Assumed to be used for general office work (Office-based software)
- A-Z keys and frequent symbol keys are placed on Layer0 (table layer)
- Grouping symbols, etc. with relevance
- Shift layer same as normal keyboard
- Set up for typing within 2 actions as much as possible, except for the Shift layer.
- As for the Sihft layer, it will be 3 actions, but set up for typing in a way that is not unreasonable.
- To reduce the number of keys, Ctrl+Space is used to switch between Japanese and English (IME on/off) for both Win/Mac.
- Combination keys are arranged so that shortcut keys can be operated with the left hand while the mouse is operated with the right hand

About settings such as MOD-TAP and simultaneous presses

When you want to perform a simultaneous “copy” press in Windows with one action, set as follows.
MOD-TAP is a mechanism that changes the behavior of keys according to the time it is pressed.
One key can have two functions: a long press will function as Shift, a single press will type “.”, and so on.
To set, simply select the respective key from “HOLD/TAP” in each key setting.
