Node75 JIS featuring split space bar mounting

What is noteworthy about the Node75 JIS this time around is the use of a split space bar despite its Japanese layout.
The base Node75 series is an entry-level mechanical keyboard featuring a retro, minimalist appearance, but it is interesting in that it offers greater flexibility around the thumb in conjunction with its Japanese layout.
The split space bar is similar to the Japanese layout used in the Lofree Flow Lite JIS keyboard, which NuPhy distributes as a reseller. The layout is similar to the Japanese layout used in the Lofree Flow Lite JIS keyboard, which is sold by Lofree.
Of course, keymap changes can be made from the “NuPhy IO 2.0” web driver, allowing for customization according to usage and working style.

The left and right space bars can be assigned different functions, so while the left space bar can be assigned “Space” to maintain the normal typing feel, the right space bar can be assigned keys such as “Backspace” and “Enter” to create a “new typing experience. can be created by assigning keys such as “Backspace” and “Enter” to the right space bar.
Equipped with touch bar and dot matrix indicator
In addition, the Node75 JIS also features a touch bar anddot matrix indicator.
The touch bar supports sliding, tapping, and double-tapping, as well as volume and backlight adjustment, and can be reassigned to the function itself.
The dot matrix indicator in the upper left corner is said to provide visual confirmation of battery level, typing pace, and Caps Lock status.
KawamuraAs an off-the-shelf JIS keyboard, it has a very distinctive equipment configuration.
Office use can be supported by selecting a quiet switch
The switch uses a new generation model jointly developed by Gateron and NuPhy.
The normal profile version will have a Gateron Max switch and the low profile version will have a Gateron Nano switch 3.0.
As for the new model, low-profile and high-profile (normal mechanical keyboard height) are selectable, and silent switches are available for each.
By selecting a silent switch, the user does not have to worry about keystroke noise and can use the machine in the office without any problems.
KawamuraThe looks have almost no gaming feel and would look great on an office desk.

Positioning is entry-level, yet offers a comfortable NuPhy-like typing feel

The main unit specifications are JIS 75% layout with 87 keys for the normal profile version and 89 keys for the low profile version.
Of course, hot-swappable keyswitches can be changed to the keyswitches of your choice.
The Node75 also features a gasket mounting system, which is used in the latest high-end Halo and Air series models, and provides a soft and comfortable keystroke feel.
As for the gasket mounting system, it is also used in Logitech’s recently released Alto Keys K98M, although the structure is somewhat different, and the comfort of the keystroke feel is confirmed.

While maintaining the ease of introduction as a complete keyboard, this unit is likely to attract attention from users of Japanese layouts as one that also offers the enjoyment of utilizing thumb keys and customizing the layout.
