On July 24, 2025, NuPhy launched its new Berry profile, WoB & BoW Berry.
Two color options are available: BoW (Black on White – black letters on a white background) and WoB (White on Black – white letters on a black background), each available as a base kit and an extra kit.
Prices are as follows
- Base Kit|$24.00
- Extra Kit|$15.00
The base kit is compatible with the common 100% US layout and can accommodate a variety of layouts, including 80% TKL, 75%, 65%, and 60%.
As for the Extra Kit, it includes 1u/1.25u/2u/2.25u/2.75u/3u space bars and can be used for special layouts such as Alice.

I am very happy with the 3u space bar.
The kit is probably a response to the growing need for small keyboards of 40% or less, a trend that has been gaining traction worldwide in recent years.
The manufacturer of the keycaps is KeyTok, which uses PBT material.
The printing method is sublimation printing, which makes it difficult to erase the print.
As for the Berry profile, it is like a low-profile version of the Cherry profile, with a low overall height of the keycaps and a “step-sculptured design” with a sloping edge to each row, which is a key feature.

Given that most low-profile keycaps are flat profiles with a uniform slope for each row, the Berry profile is one-and-only.
In the past, “not-so-basic lines” such as “Godzilla” and “Oblivion” have been released, designs that, for better or for worse, choose the keyboard on which they are mounted.
The new lineup, now available in easy-to-use black and white, is expected to be even more popular.
Note, however, that “Gateron systems” such as “Gateron LP 1.0/2.0/3.0” are recommended for the keyswitch to be installed.

Also available with Kailh choc v2 keyswitches, but if the keycap is fitted too deeply, it may come into contact with the switch plate.
The safest option is to combine with a Gateron-type low-profile switch.
