On February 8, 2026, Tenkaichi Keyboard Waiwai Kai Vol. 10 (also known as Tenkey) was held.
The venue is the DMM.com Group Seminar Room on the 24th floor of Sumitomo Fudosan Roppongi Grand Tower in Roppongi, Tokyo.
The event was changed to “four times a year” this year and became the first “winter event”.
Unusually for Tokyo, the event was held in the snow.

This article introduces the coverage report (company booths) of Tenkey Vol. 10.

In this report, we will introduce a selection of company booths that we were able to talk to.
BEEKEB (GK Walnut)
At the beekeeb booth, the 36keys model of the Toucan, a left-right split keyboard with trackpad, was on display, and it was impressive to see so many people looking at it with interest.

A representative from Kailh was also present at the booth, displaying joysticks and scroll wheel parts that are compatible with Hall Effects.

Keychron (Kopec Japan Inc.)
Many visitors came to the Keychron booth to see Nape Pro.

Please see our separate article on this subject.

The editorial department focused on the “Keychron K2 HE All Wood Edition,” which is being exhibited for the first time in Japan.

The most significant change compared to the regular K2 HE is that the case is entirely machined from wood.

KawamuraAmazingly, there are no seams at all.
Nobuki Inoue, the creator of Mokulate, happened to be looking at it with me, and I got the impression that it was made by 5-axis CNC machining.
This is amazing!
ELECOM (ELECOM Corporation)
At the Elecom booth, which was Tenkey’s first appearance at the show, there were more pointing devices than keyboards.

KawamuraThe person in charge of the event was also concerned and asked the management if it was safe to have more people using trackballs even though it was a keyboard event.
Of course, it sounds like it was OK.
Tenkey indeed.
The trackball mice, arranged from left to right in order of decreasing size, caught the attention of visitors.

Many visitors seemed to request that DEFT PRO be made into a bearing as well as IST PR.
I am looking forward to the update, as the HUGE PLUS had a good bearing support mechanism for the trackball that was adopted as standard.

Also at the keyboard booth, the KEY PALETTO attracted a lot of attention.

KEY PALETTO was developed to help children learn touch typing.
The 17mm pitch allows even small children to type easily, and the width seems to have been designed to accommodate the learning style using iPads introduced by the GIGA School concept.
KawamuraThe development story is also open to the public, and this time there were people who participated in the project.
I like Elecom’s approach to development.
Designs for adults are also available.

Yusha Kobo

We also visited the Yousha Kobo booth, which has recently been focusing on GBs for overseas keyboards.
The editorial team focused on two of the machines, KBDfans “Agar” and HIBI “CHOPPER”.

Agar is a 60% size mechanical keyboard with HHKB layout.
The body can be machined from aluminum or polycarbonate, and the product on display was made of polycarbonate with beautiful transparency.
KawamuraThe symmetry of the left and right spaces in the bottom row was quite jarring. The original HHKB is wider on the right and the space bar size is 6u.

Another interesting keystroke was HIBI’s CHOPPER.
The case is made of silicone, and the gap between the hard keystroke feel and the appearance was very refreshing.

The staff also told us that the length of the Enter key was purposely made 2.25u to match the standard size of the regular keycap set to make it easier to use the regular keycap set.

The red keyswitches were matched with LeleLab transparent keycaps, as you would expect from a keyboard specialty store! The red keyswitches are matched with LeleLab transparent keycaps.
DIGIART (Sanyo Godo Kaisha)
Sanyo LLC had many NuPhy and Lofree products on display.
The number of brands we carry has been increasing recently, and our impression was that many people were surprised by the keystroke feel of the Smurve80, which is currently undergoing GB.

The reason we were surprised by the key feel is that this keyboard has a special mechanism called ” sonoraid”.
Please listen to the sound here first.
A module that emits a sound in conjunction with the sound of each keystroke is built in, providing a very pleasant typing experience.

Also popular among women was Lofree’s Foundation Tri-Mode Wireless Num Pad.

It looks so cute that it can be used as it is on a calculator, but it can also be used on a PC as a numeric keypad that supports wireless connectivity.
Moreover, keycaps and key switches can be replaced.
KawamuraThis is a popular product that is always on “waiting list” at the Lofree Japan store.
They are also planning to sell new lipstick-inspired colors in Japan.

Other products on display included the Lofree Flow2, which became very popular through crowdfunding, the NuPhy NODE75, which is available in high-pro and low-pro models, and the NuPhy WH80, the latest in magnetic keyboards.
