I never dreamed that a Mac could fit in a 12.7cm square enclosure.
I bought it because it boasts an amazing cost performance and is 100,000 yen cheaper than my MBP M1 Pro model with the same specs, even with 32GB of memory.

Released by Ulanzi, a company that releases camera peripherals with outstanding cost performance, is a Mac Pro-style case.
The price is less than 10,000 yen, making it a good value.
It can be placed either upright or horizontally, and is easily mounted by simply inserting the unit from the side and securing it with screws.
Vertical placement would also solve the power button problem.
The grater-style grill gives it another “it” look.
However, this photo shows that the two Type-C units on the front will not be accessible.

Next, let’s look at ZEERA MacForge Gen2.
Two color variations are available: silver and black.
This one also seems to be made of aluminum material, but compared to Ulanzi, it seems to be slightly more design-oriented, with mesh for ventilation.
As for the power button, it is also not buried, but raised.
The top magnetic lid opens to accommodate the SSD enclosure, which is quite functional.
It is not designed to be placed horizontally, is it?
The mounting method is screwless and slides in from the underside.
It has a much more “moneyed” feel than Uranizi.
However, it is also expensive, costing about 22,000 yen at the current dollar-yen rate, double the price of Ulanzi.

ZEERA MacForge Gen2
If you are looking for quality, the ZEERA MacForge Gen2 case may be the way to go.
The price is a little high at 22,000 yen, but with a well-designed design, the convenience of being able to mount an M2SSD, the beautiful sculpting of the power button, and the slide-in mounting method, there is nothing to complain about.
It’s expensive, though.
3rd｜Ulanzi QT01
If you want an aluminum case at an affordable price, this is it.
It can be purchased for half the price of the aforementioned aluminum case.
The only drawback is that the front USB port and earphone jack die when the grater grille is attached.
