Exhibitors Announced for TOKYO KEYBOARD EXPO 2026 | A Record 86 Brands to Gather

On August 8, 2026, Yusha Kobo released the list of exhibitors for “TOKYO KEYBOARD EXPO 2026 (TKX2026)” on their official X account.

Along with this announcement, the event’s key visual has also been unveiled.

This year’s key visual features the limited edition HHKB model, celebrating its 30th anniversary.

A total of 86 brands from Japan and overseas will be exhibiting this year.

The scale of the event has grown to approximately 1.5 times that of the inaugural 2025 expo.

The event will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 (a public holiday).

The venue has moved from Akihabara UDX to the Tokyo Ryutsu Center, offering roughly double the floor space of the previous event.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale starting Saturday, August 22, at Yusha Kobo’s physical and online stores.

The published list includes not only keyboard manufacturers but also brands and artisan makers specializing in switches, keycaps, custom keyboards, and related accessories.

All booths will feature product displays, and some exhibitors plan to sell items on-site.

86 Brands Gather, Approximately 1.5 Times More Than Last Year

TOKYO KEYBOARD EXPO is an exhibition and sales event hosted by Yusha Kobo and the Chinese keyboard community “zFrontier.”

The first event was held in 2025 at Akihabara UDX, with over 50 brands and artisan makers participating from Japan and abroad.

For 2026, the number of exhibitors has increased to 86 brands.

Yusha Kobo explains that the scale will be approximately 1.5 times larger than the previous event.

The venue has also been changed from AKIBA SQUARE at Akihabara UDX to Hall F of the Tokyo Ryutsu Center Exhibition Hall 2.

According to the organizers, the floor space is roughly double that of the last expo.

With both the number of exhibitors and the venue size expanding, the second expo is set to be the largest to date.

Tickets Sold Out Last Year

At TOKYO KEYBOARD EXPO 2025, advance tickets sold out completely, and no additional tickets or same-day passes were issued.

Greenkeys covered the event on-site and observed long queues forming before the doors opened, with the venue packed with visitors.

Booths selling highly anticipated products saw particularly long lines, and some items sold out early in the day.

While the venue is larger this year, the number of exhibiting brands has also significantly increased.

If you plan to attend, it is recommended to secure your tickets as soon as they go on sale on August 22.

Last time, it was impressive to see finished products from overseas brands (mainly from China) alongside the thriving Japanese culture of split and custom keyboards all in one place. Looking at the 2026 exhibitor list, I feel this trend has become even stronger.

In addition to gaming brands like Wooting and ROG and switch manufacturers like CHERRY and GATERON, well-known domestic brands such as Keychron, HHKB, REALFORCE, and Elecom will also participate.

At the same time, smaller projects that characterize the Japanese keyboard market—such as up-and-coming brands like NocFree, Jezail Funder, and Elimkeys, high-end brands like SINGAKBD, and custom keyboards by artisan makers—will be lined up in the same venue.
