The Kickstarter for JezailFunder’s Jiffy75, a 75% left-right split keyboard, is still going strong into its second day.
A preliminary report published yesterday by Greenkeys confirmed a total of 346 backers as of about nine hours after the start of the project, but as of now, the number of backers on Kickstarter has reached 525.
Compared to yesterday, the number of backers has increased by at least 176, which means that the situation has maintained the momentum of the first day and is increasing support.

Continued from the first day’s focus without stalling on the second day

Jiffy75, right from the start, has shown strength that does not end with the so-called “first day boost.
The goal amount has already been reached, but the fact that support has continued to build up after the release, not just simple achievement, seems to indicate that interest in Jiffy75 is not a one-time event.
Why Jiffy75 is attracting attention
Jiffy75 features a split left-right construction, but is based on a 75% class low-staggered layout that is relatively easy for the average keyboard user to get into.
As mentioned in the previous day’s Greenkeys article, while summarizing elements such as low profile, wireless support, aluminum housing, and quiet switches, the product stands to reach the “I’m not comfortable with full ergos out of the box” crowd.
The fact that the Jiffy75 is a finished product makes it easy to purchase, and yet it incorporates a natural position that matches the width of your shoulders, which is unique to split keyboards.
The initial strength we are seeing in this Kickstarter may be because it meshes well with such a need for a more realistic use of division.
summary

Jiffy75’s Kickstarter is not just an instant boost on the first day, but is steadily building support on the second day as well.
I’m interested in a split keyboard, but I’m not willing to go to the extreme of rearranging the keyboard.
For such an audience, Jiffy75 may be seen as a quite realistic option.
If you are interested, don’t miss it.
