In recent years, glossy keycap sets have become more common.
Perhaps ABS material is the first thing that comes to mind when we think of “glossy materials” for keycap sets.
ABS material is inexpensive and can be used for double-shot, but there are many people who are not satisfied with the sound of the keystroke.
However, ceramic keycaps are expensive and difficult to afford.
We recommend Keyreative’s “PBT Blank Keycaps -152 Keys” for such users.
Let’s review it as soon as possible.
- Glossy in spite of PBT material
- The keystroke feel is wonderful.
- KAM profile with all uniform height and slope for any keycap set
- Two sets of small keyboards can be assembled.
- Low price
- Beautiful to look at.
- Not sure which key it is as it is not stamped with the legend.
- Keycap set for advanced users who have mastered touch typing
- Fingerprint stains are noticeable.

Keyreative PBT Blank Keycaps -152 Keys Overview
Keyreative PBT Blank Keycaps -152 Keys is an unmarked keycap set containing 152 keys.
This is a very large number of keycap variations and includes 1u Convex, 1u Scoop, and various Convex keys.
Since it is KAM profile x unmarked, it is excellent for any keycap set.
The price is a whopping $49.00!
At Sanyo Godo Kaisha, the authorized distributor in Japan, the price is 8,998 yen (including tax), which is a very inexpensive price for a keycap.

Let’s take a look at the actual keycap.
This number of keycaps is impressive.
There are many convex keys, and they are very well stocked.
The beautiful luster can be clearly seen from the side.
I put them at random.
The black color is, needless to say, “black,” but the white color is slightly ivory, and the pink and blue are pastel colors.
Looking at the back side, there is a cutout, and it seems to be installed with this side facing up.
The thick PBT material gives the keys a pleasant “kotokotoko” feel.
This is what it looks like when actually attached to the keyboard.
The keyboard used is a Deadline Studio TPS40.
The color appears somewhat ivory due to the lighting, but it is a bit closer to white.
I will compare them later, but they are closer to ivory than Cerakey’s white.
Then black.
The keyboard used is bully.
As expected, the glossy acrylic case and the tonal keycaps are a perfect match.
Then, girly and cute pink.
The keyboard is cool838ax.
The pink keycap makes a rather strong statement, so a pastel-colored case in the same vein goes well with it.
A white case will give an even softer impression.
My desk suddenly popped.
The last one is blue.
The keyboard used was a Cannonkeys Vicious40.
It looks more manageable than pink and will look good in a basic color case of white or black in addition to a case of the same color.
Compare with Cerakey and ABS keycaps
I still wonder about the difference from other glossy keycaps.
In this case, we compared it with the following two types
- Cerakey v2
- JTK HSA Profile Eccentric ABS keycaps
We will start with the front view.
Like this, the KAM PBT Blank keycap is more ivory than white when compared to Cerakey.
You can clearly see that it is an ivory color compared to the white background that is laid out for the photo shoot.
As for gloss, there is no modesty at all compared to ABS / ceramic.
When viewed from an oblique angle, Cerakey still appears to reflect the most light.
At first glance, it is difficult to determine which material is which.
As of 2024, Keyreative seems to be the only company capable of manufacturing shiny keycaps in PBT material, so it is the perfect keycap for those who value keystroke sound as well as looks.
However, all glossy materials still have the same disadvantages of “noticeable fingerprints” and “easily visible stains.
It should be wiped frequently after use.
Summary|Recommended for those who value keystroke sound and looks.
This is my review of the Keyreative PBT Blank Keycap Set -152keys.
Although it is unmarked, and therefore likely to be available only to a limited number of people, this shiny look with PBT material is truly unique and appealing.
Since the price is not so high, it is also recommended for those who would like to try unmarked products.
