Lofree Flow 2 (V2) coming soon?

Since the end of May 2025, teaser images of a model that looks like “Lofree FLOW 2” have been posted on the official Lofree X account.

The product is called “FLOW 2” and seems to have three main concepts: innovative typing, stunning visuals, and exquisite touch.

I also like the catchy copy of the next flagship.

As for the case, it probably uses CNC machining of aluminum and appears to be a two-piece construction with a bottom frame and top frame.

Based on the aspect ratio of the above image, it may be that a smaller size than 75% will be released this time.

Also, note that the right side has a blank space, which is different from the previous model.

The connection is Type-C, and the connection is made from the right side of the main unit.

This newly established “margin” looks like a touch sensor.

Also, the key layout seen in the above image is a numeric keypad, which may mean that a 96% layout is available.

If we were to go in that order, there might be three configurations: the 75% layout, which is popular worldwide, plus the 65% layout, which is popular with keyboard enthusiasts, and the 96% layout, which is likely to be popular for office use.

The previous model, FLOW V1, quickly became a popular product because of its gasket-mounted structure despite its thin profile and the use of key switches that were revolutionary at the time for their quiet operation and good key feel.

On the other hand, compared to competing products, there were some points that we expected to see improved in V2, such as the fact that the design floats slightly due to the lack of typing angle adjustment and the lack of support for keymap changes.

We are also interested to see what will happen regarding the classification of linear as white-collar and tactile as black-collar.
