On May 21, 2026, TacType revealed on its official Discord that a payment system issue had occurred, leaving customers unable to purchase.
As of writing, it appears to be back up.
They explain that the cause of the payment system error was a temporary overload of the payment system’s security filter due to a large volume of orders.
As compensation for this issue, they also announced an extension of the sale period.

The sale deadline has been extended by 12 hours and changed to 11:00 AM JST on the 23rd.
TacType is an up-and-coming keycap brand that uses zirconia ceramic as its keycap material.
By using zirconia ceramic—a material also used in dental treatments—they achieve a uniform surface shape.
Because the stems use PC material, there’s extremely little unevenness in light transmission, and the competitive pricing is another major draw.
