On March 18, 2024, tarohayashi launched a new “Wheel con” at Booth.
Wheel con is a macro pad with a vertical rotary encoder and features a very thin profile because the microcontroller is mounted directly on the board.
The device was commissioned and created based on an idea by prototype designer CKB.
It seems to be designed based on the RP2040, and even those who are not familiar with self-made keyboards will be able to use it easily, as firmware can be burned in by drag-and-drop, without any dedicated software.
Two firmware versions are available for Remap/Vial, each of which allows keymap changes to be operated on the GUI.
The price is 12,375 yen (tax included).
