From my post, I started thinking the person behind Keychron’s official X might be Nick—and then, plot twist: it really was him.
Keychron’s X has been getting pretty active lately, and there was a post that caught my eye, so I’ll introduce it here.

Keycaps for vibe coding.
As vibe coding (a style where you tell AI in natural language, like “make it feel like this,” and have it code) gets more and more convenient, some worry keyboards might fade away… but in fact, the opposite is happening.
A representative example is OpenAI’s official “Codex Micro” (a $230 mini keyboard).
If you’ve been reading Greenkeys for a while, you probably know this is based on the Creatormicro from the Canadian keyboard brand “Worklouder.”
It’s not in their product lineup anymore.
With the arrival of vibe coding, there’s no doubt we’re writing code less and less by hand.
But writing prompts, reviewing, fine-tuning, navigating files… for these actions, the keyboard is still the main player.
In reality, we’re not at “all voice” yet in terms of accuracy and ease of editing.
My guess is that dedicated physical control devices are starting to take off so you don’t have to do things like “press Y to approve” dozens of times after giving instructions via vibe coding.
Keychron is probably developing a device like this too.
More than that, I also feel like we’ll start seeing setups like a keyboard + macropad going forward.
In that context, these keycaps could be really effective.
It’s also fun that some include vibe-coding-specific keys like “yolo,” “yeet,” “agent,” “ship,” “fix,” and “think.”
I summarized what they mean in the context of AI agents (especially coding agents) in a simple table.

Keychron is probably trying to define the role of their keyboards all the way into a future where vibe coding has fully arrived.
If AI is writing the code, I feel like they’ll shift toward making the keyboard itself more fun, beautiful, and easy to customize—raising satisfaction with typing feel and looks.
The need for keyboards as a “function” will gradually shift toward a role as “FUN.”
Rather than disappearing, keyboards might become even more interesting.
