Choosing color and material combinations is part of the fun of custom keyboards.

With a configurator, it seems easier to picture the finished build than when comparing each part individually.

A design focused on the sound of the internal space

The Chamber is a keyboard whose design focuses not only on its appearance but also on the relationship between its internal space and its sound.

In a development post, Masro describes removing the internal ribs from the early prototype and adjusting the available space, weight placement, and bottom-case depth.

According to Masro, the structure was designed with careful consideration of how the keystroke sound would resonate and decay.

The lines running across the bottom are another distinctive feature.

The ribs removed from the interior of the early prototype were retained as an exterior design detail, turning the development process into part of the design.
