After all, the standard replacement keycap is Black on White or White on Black.
The coloring matches any keyboard, but the monochromatic composition may make it too plain.
In such cases, we recommend Hipparcos.
The space-themed Hipparcos are based on WoB, but can be made to pop with a combination of glittering accent keys, and the base kit alone is a color palette that can be enjoyed to the fullest.
This article reviews the “Hipparcos” keycap set that Keyreative sells in stock.

Hipparcos was designed by designer Keepo.
Hipparcos was a high-precision positional astronomical satellite launched by the European Space Agency on August 8, 1989, and operated until 1993.
HIgh Precision PARallax COllecting Satellite is a known abbreviation for High Precision Parallax COllecting Satellite.
This keycap set has a “cosmic” theme and is inspired by the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram and the spectrum of stars, making this keycap set a perfect example of the glittering feel of the universe.
The key profile is the familiar Cherry profile, molded with 100% PBT material.
Legend is dye sublimation printing.

Now let’s take a look at Hipparcos with actual photos.
It comes in a black-based paper package.
The star names and colorful colors are like constellations twinkling in the night sky.
Very stylish.
The addition of Accent and Translucent to the Base kit shows that the set is very complete.
Also, the Base kit has a very large number of space bars and would be well suited for small keyboards such as 40s.
All alpha key areas are surrounded by circles to resemble fixed stars, and certain keycaps are engraved with the names of stars.
This is a pattern I have not seen before…wonderful!
The space bar also shows a particular attention to the “K” (Kelvin) notation, which is a symbol for the stellar spectrum.
Legend’s typeface also has a unique design with a noticeable number of vertices, as if the resolution of a gothic font has been reduced.
The Translucent kit is probably made of translucent material, and the colorful printing is very eye-catching in contrast to the smoky material.
The homing key variation, which is becoming a standard in recent Keyreative keycaps, was also available in Hipparcos in two types: one with a projection and the other with a depressed center.
The type with a depressed center has an even larger concavity than the surrounding cylindrical shape.
Now let’s look at some photos of the actual installation on the keyboard.
In this case, I installed it on a Corne V3 Cherry keyboard with a Corchim case.
After all, it matches the matte black case very well, the same as the keycap.
I looked at placing the Translucent keycap at the modifier key position.
After all, it is a good accent.
In this case, we dared to use only light blue keycaps, with almost no colored accent keycaps, in order to keep the color down.
By keeping the colors low, the keyboard can also be made to look cool.
Of course, these colorful patterns are also possible.
summary
This is a review of the Keyreative Hipparcos keycap set.
For those who want even more accents than a regular WoB keycap, this is a highly recommended keycap.
