Finally, it appears that engraved PBS profile keycaps will be available.
On September 17, 2024, the release of PBS profile keycaps with engraving was reported by a volunteer from the keyboard community.
The newest addition to the lineup, it turns out, is maxvoltar’s PBS CLASSIC.
The classic beige-toned look seems to be inspired by Apple’s iconic M0110 and M0110A keyboards.
If you look closely, you can see that the bottom row of keys is a convex key with sublimation printing on it.
Two sets are available: the basic “Base Kit” and the “Ortho&40s Kit,” which is also compatible with ortholinear and 40% keyboards.
If you look closely, you can see that the 40s also have keys with QAZ engraved on them.
Also, the sheer number of convex keys never ceases to amaze me.
PBS CLASSIC will be available in GB and the vendors are as follows
- Cannonkeys(U.S.)
- oblotzky.industries(E.U.)
- Swagkeys(South Korea)
- Proto [Typist](U.K.)
- iLumkb(South East Asia)
- zFlontier(China)
- Yusha Kobo(Japan)
It appears that Yusha Kobo will be the vendor in Japan.
The GB will be held from October 11 to November 11, 2024, with prices to be determined at this time.
PBS profile keycaps are flat profile keycaps manufactured by Keyreative, with Cannonkeys as the global distributor.
Since this is the first keycap of the “with legend” series, it is likely to attract a lot of attention.
