The price of the much talked about dual-action keyboard has finally been announced.
You can get 40% off the regular sale price by paying a $1.00 deposit through the pre-launch page here.
KickStarter Pre-order Pricing
- Normal version: USD$169 ( 40% off regular price USD$239)
- Full version: USD$189 ( 40% off regular price USD$259)
This is a bargain.
The difference between the normal version and the full version is whether the “dual action key” is set.
The normal version comes with preset dual-action keys in the function key row, whereas the full version comes with an additional 23 dual-action keycaps and switches for customization of the gaming and numeric keypad zones.

Switching from the normal version to the full version can be changed during the crowdfunding process.
The Nics Hesper64(100) Dual-Action Low-Profile Keyboard is a seemingly conventional keyboard with a 65% layout ANSI layout, but the key switches have significant features.

Thus, the key switches at certain points are divided into upper and lower sections, creating a very unique structure in which a single key switch has two roles.
The coloring lineup includes Mixty Night and Sand Beige.

All keyswitches can be mapped, including dual-action keyswitches, because they are compatible with QMK /VIA.

Tecsee’s low-profile mechanical key switches are used, with a pressing pressure of 40gf, a weight favored by the Japanese, and a total stroke of 3.4mm, which will give you a firm pressing feel for low-profile key switches.
The so-called “speed switch” with an actuation point of about 1.7 mm should allow for responsive input even with light touch.

The structure is a top-mounted structure with an integrated aluminum frame, so we expect the keystroke feel to be slightly harder.
The three layers of sound-absorbing material in place will allow the user to experience a relatively dead keystroke sound.
