This could be a revolution in the keycap manufacturing industry.
The “Keyreative KAP MV Classic” sample keycap, which was sent to us with a light-hearted, “Take a look at this new product,” was a stunning finish.
Let’s start with the photos.
You can see the printing on the side.

When it comes to technology that allows printing on the sides, “five-sided sublimation printing” is the latest standard.
However, this is not sublimation printing.

What a “double shot”!
We also received a sample of the manufacturing process.

I wonder how this is made…………………………………it must be the first time in the world that even the sides are double-shot.

The keycap has a three-layer structure, and appears to be made by combining an outer frame, an inner frame, and a shaft.

Once again, it is truly an amazing technology.

More details will probably follow, but from what I can see, I get the impression that in addition to the “double shot to the sides”, the sublegend and side legend areas are sublimation printed.

The black or white legend on the left side of the top is a double shot, but the legend on the right side may be a sublimation print on top of the double shot…?
The side legends may have been printed sublimated over the double shot as well.

It is a hybrid configuration.

MV Classic key caps are, The MV Classic keycaps are a set of keycaps designed by Max Voltar. The keycap set was designed by Max Voltar.
Initially developed in the PBS profile, it gained popularity, but now it is being released in the Cherry profile under the “KAP” name.

I expect the announcement to be made sometime in July.
The PBS MV Classic has already been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase.
It is not so unusual for a popular designer’s model to be side-released with a different profile, but it is very rare for the manufacturing method itself to be updated so much and sold as in this case.
