Lofreen’s new “Flow Lite” keyboard, which is getting a lot of attention.
Aside from the quality and low price of the main unit, what everyone in the home-built keyboard community is probably wondering is whether the product is sold individually.
At this time, no announcement has been made yet, I personally expect that there will be I personally expect that there will be an announcement.
We will publish photos of the new Specter/Hades keyswitch as far as we are able to publish them at this time.
Permission was obtained to publish the photos.
As for the Lofree x Kailh keyswitch, X volunteers report that only the input pins on the footprint are compatible with the Choc v2, and that by enlarging the center axis, the Lofree x Kailh keyswitch is available. (Lofree x Kailh keyswitches do not have guide pins like the choc v2)
Therefore, in the homebrew keyboard community, it seems to be possible to accommodate Lofre low-profile key switches with a thicker center footprint in the form of a modified footprint of the choc v2.
As was the case with Ghost, this new key switch will no doubt be popular in the Japanese homebrew keyboard community when it becomes available as a stand-alone product.
The most famous keyboard that supports Lofree x Kailh keyswitches is probably the Corne v4 chocolate.
(The official build guide does not list support for this, but it does fit.)
I personally already use Corne v4 Chocolate with Hades and it is quite comfortable.
I expect to see home-made keyboards with new compatible footprints!
