On June 19, 2025, Mr. Sekigon, the developer of Auto-Keyboard-Design-Kit (Auto-KDK), updated his SNS to announce that tadpole is now an option for the Auto-KDK mounting method.

Easier to assemble than gasket mounts because you just insert the tadpole #auto_kdk pic.twitter.com/YUhRc5Hfh1

auto-kdk is a web application that allows you to design your own keyboard with your own original layout in your browser.
Previously, only the default “integrated mount” (case-integrated mounting method) and gasket mount (experimental) were available, but with this update, “tadpole mount” (experimental) has been added.
The tadpole mount was first adopted by GEONWORKS keyboards in Korea, and has also been used in Aki27’s bally, cocot38mini, Cofee Break Keyboard’s bully, and others.
The silicone parts are inserted into the switch plate holes and fixed between the upper and lower cases, creating a floating mount with ease.
Previously, there was a problem with availability, but that problem has been resolved in Japan, as Greenkeys Shop began handling and selling the product in Japan in May 2025.
Why don’t you try floating mounts by tadpole?
