The Official Gazette is an official publication issued by the government; in this issue, the notice of dissolution of Kurumi LLC appears on page 49.

According to the dissolution notice published in the Official Gazette, Kurumi LLC was dissolved on August 31, 2026, with the consent of all members.
The public notice instructs creditors of the company to file their claims within two months of the day following the publication of the notice.
The information contained in the announcement is as follows.
- Company Name: Kurumi LLC
- Address: Room 302, AZ Nishi-Waseda, 1-23-13 Nishi-Waseda, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo
- Dissolution Date: August 31, 2026
- Liquidator: Mr. Liu Yukang

- Published in: Official Gazette, Reiwa 8, September 4, Extra Edition No. 198, page 49
In the “Disclosures Required by the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions ” section of beekeeb.jp, Kurumi LLC is listed as the seller, Mr. Liu Yukang as the head of operations, and Room 302, AZ Nishi-Waseda, 1-23-13 Nishi-Waseda, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, as the business address.
Because the company name, address, and responsible person match the information listed on beekeeb.jp, this confirms that the dissolved Kurumi LLC is the entity operating beekeeb.jp.

Please note that what was confirmed in this case was not a bankruptcy but the dissolution of the company.
The Official Gazette states that the company was “dissolved with the consent of all members,” which is different from a court order initiating bankruptcy proceedings.
beekeeb.jp Continued to Announce New Products and Parts Until Shortly Before the Dissolution
What was particularly striking about this dissolution was that beekeeb.jp continued to announce new products and parts right up until the very end.
Since the start of 2026, Greenkeys has been regularly featuring new products and development updates from beekeeb.jp.
In June 2026, the new split keyboard, “minim,” was announced.
minim is a split keyboard that features ultra-low-profile switches and an aluminum case.
In addition to the announcement, Greenkeys also features a hands-on review of the actual unit that was exhibited at the “Tenkaichi Keyboard Waiwai-kai Vol. 11.”
Around the same time, development was also underway on the “Toucan2,” a split keyboard with a built-in trackpad.
Toucan2 was developed as the successor to the Toucan and features a multi-touch trackpad and a custom glass cover, among other features.
Several prototypes were on display at TenKey Vol. 11, and Greenkeys was also able to see the actual units.
Furthermore, on August 20, 2026 —just 11 days before the company’s dissolution—the official beekeeb.jp X account announced the launch of a 14mm trackball.
Greenkeys covered this on the following day, August 21.
Judging by these developments, at least from the outside, there were few signs suggesting that the company was scaling back its operations or product offerings right up until the dissolution.

Given that the company continued to release new products and parts right up until just before its dissolution, this corporate dissolution appears somewhat sudden to outside observers.
The Hong Kong-Based beekeeb Global Site Remains Operational
On the other hand, the entity dissolved in this case is Kurumi LLC, the Japanese company that operated beekeeb.jp.
The global website “beekeeb.com” for beekeeb, operated by Hong Kong-based Cursorless Limited, remains active and features DIY kits, keyboard parts, soldering services, and more.
In addition, Toucan2 continues to be featured on the official website.
Therefore, we cannot conclude that the beekeeb brand itself has come to an end simply because Kurumi LLC has been dissolved .
beekeeb has previously stated on its official blog that the business was originally operated by a two-person team in Hong Kong, led by founder Leo.

Summary
beekeeb.jp was one of the retailers where you could purchase parts for custom-built keyboards, low-profile products, trackballs, and other items—many of which are rarely carried by typical keyboard stores—directly from within Japan.
The company was particularly innovative in the areas of trackball-related components and split keyboards, and was also proactive in developing new products such as the Toucan2 and minim.
It’s certainly true that this shop, which opened in July 2025, had become an indispensable resource for DIY keyboard users in just one short year.
Here at Greenkeys, we have also been consistently featuring new products and prototypes related to beekeeb.
For that very reason, it is extremely regrettable that the Japanese subsidiary was dissolved just as new products and parts were still being released right up until the very end.
On the other hand, the Hong Kong-based beekeeb itself continues to operate to this day.
We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on how future product development—including Toucan2 and minim—unfolds, as well as what the sales structure for the Japanese market will look like going forward.
