It’s finally official.
On June 18, 2025, zFrontier, a keyboard store based in Shanghai, China, updated its official website to announce that it will host the TOKYO KEYBOARD EXPO.

The sponsor of the event is Yousha Kobo, and it is expected that not only Chinese domestic keyboard brands but also many Japanese keyboard brands will be exhibiting on the day.
Until now, the two most famous keyboard meetups have been “Tenkaichi Keyboard Waiwai Kai (Tenkey)” and “Keyboard Market Tokyo (Keyket),” an exhibition and sales event, but this is probably the first event organized by an overseas store in Japan.
Let’s imagine an event in Tokyo based on the last one held in Shanghai.

Thus, a whopping 44 booths are exhibiting in Shanghai.
It is impressive that there are so many keyboard brands among them that are not yet familiar to the Japanese market.
KawamuraSince this is the first time the event is being held in Japan, it is unclear how large it will be, but I think it is safe to assume that the event will be quite large in scale.
I am waiting for an announcement on the details!
