On June 12, 2025, Lofree updated its official X to announce the new Flow 2.
As expected on this site, the product lineup will consist of three types, 65%/96% with 75% as the main axis, and two colors, white/black as before, with a total of six patterns to choose from at this time.
The choice of switches is unknown at this time and could be further varied depending on the combination.

Let’s summarize the information released at this time.
First, coloring.
Made of machined aluminum, the body comes in two colors: silver and space gray.
I get the impression that both colors are coming along with the Mac.
Perhaps the color of the enclosure, such as Mac mini m4, will match the silver and the color used in the Macbook will match the space gray.
The keytop colors are white for silver and black for space gray, respectively.
Three key layouts are available.
The lineup includes 68 keys (65%) without function keys, 84 keys (75%) with function keys, and 100 keys (96%) with even a numeric keypad.
The layout is ANSI (US layout) only, and Japanese layout is not announced at this time.
The machined aluminum housing has a very smooth surface and is engraved with the “Lofree” brand logo.
The corners are beautifully and gently curled.
KawamuraThe corners of Apple products are all treated with the same R, but the corners of the Flow 2 seemed to be treated slightly differently this time.
The back plate is also aluminum, of course, so that screws are not visible from the surface.
Also, the tilt leg, which was unpopular in Flow v1, is now variable in Flow 2, which is also an improvement.
Variability is seen as one step only.
Newly added is this touch sensor.
At this time it appears that volume and brightness can be changed.

The keytop shape has been changed from spherical to cylindrical, with no difference in slope between rows.
Due to the touch sensor and LEDs being mounted on the right edge, all power and connection-related items are concentrated on the right side.
The USB connector is also on the right side, so perhaps the included Type-C cable will be L-shaped.
The body structure has not yet been mentioned, but from this development drawing, it appears that it will follow a gasket-mounted structure with multiple sound-absorbing foams.
We are excited to see how the Flow v1, which brought us the shock of “that thinness and that keystroke feel,” has been updated.
In addition, VIA is supported from this time.
Frankly speaking, beginner users may not need it as far as the keymap change function is concerned.
However, once you learn this, you will be stuck with the “joy of customization.
Other than that, the connection appears to be triple-mode compatible and has a high-capacity 3000mAh battery.

The pressing pressure of all new keyswitches is standardized at 40gf.
SURFER is a linear switch with a crisp bottoming sound, VOID is a silent linear switch with a solid bottoming sound, and PULSE is a light tactile switch with a bumping sound.
The exterior is sleeker with no protruding parts, and the LED diffuser has been updated from a slit to a diffusing lens.
To reiterate, this is honestly too cheap for these specs.
