When did this appear?
While looking at the X timeline, I got the vibe that a new choc v1 switch had been released, so I looked at the official Lowprokb (Canada) website.
Isn’t there?
The new choc v1 key switch is!
Newly added to the Ambient series lineup is the BOKEH, a silent linear key switch with 50gf of pressing pressure.

The Ambient series released by Lowprokb is a newly designed silent key switch that suppresses the “clickety-clack” feeling characteristic of choc v1.
Everything, including the housing, was developed from scratch.

Until now, the lineup has consisted of the following three types
Ambients Silent Choc Switches Lineup
- Noctual-20gf Silent Linear
- Twilight-35gf Silent Linear
- Sunrise-40gf Silent Tactile
Bokeh-50gf Silent Linear” will be added here.
(Sunrise is expected to be available by the end of 2025. (That’s a pretty long delivery time for this one, too.)
When the Ambients series first came to Japan, it was quite popular, and the stock at Yousha Kobo ran out in an instant, which is probably still fresh in the minds of people in the area.

As I usually use MX switches of around 40-50gf, even the 35gf Twilight was too light for me and I did not feel like using it willingly.
For some reason, the low-pro key switch feels lighter than it actually is.
In this regard, the 50gf Bokeh seems to be a very viable option.
It has not yet arrived at Yousha Kobo, and KEEBD (Australia) appears to be the only overseas vendor close to Japan that has it available for purchase.
(KEEBD takes about 10 days from order to arrival)
The choc v1 was slightly overshadowed by the appearance of Lofree x Kailh choc v2.
It’s going to be a hot topic again.
