Cannonkeys has sent us some very hot new information.

Let’s introduce them in order.
Let’s start with the hardware.
MINIMI40 is a lunchbox-style 40% layout keyboard.

It is really a lunch box style, with a convenient configuration where the lid serves as a palm rest.
Looks like a resin body.

Five colors are available.

There are four types of PCBs.
- Wireless (hot swap)
- Wired (soldering)
- Wired (hot swap)
- Wired (EC switch)

It is nice to see a lineup of wired models available in Japan.
And I wonder what switch will be used for EC (capacitance non-contact method).
It appears that there are two layouts to choose from: regular Lowesuta and Ortho.

I am happy to see that the market for minimalist keyboards seems to be expanding a little bit these days.

Then the keycap.
GMK’s new “GMK Shaded” is about to be released.

It comes in two color schemes, BoG and GoB.
Black-on-gray is available, but gray-on-black is rare.

The kit comes in three types: base, extension, and Modi.
The product does not appear to be available in Japan at this time.
This mod key accent color is going to do a great job.

This is followed by the KAP MV Classic, which has achieved the “double shot to the side” mentioned in the previous content.

A few specs were also published.
- Designer – Max Voltar & kapowaz
- Manufacturer – Keyreative
- Material – PBT
- Method – Double Shot
- Profile – Cherry
The coloring is available in light and dark bases.

Lastly, I would like to introduce PBS Granite, designed by Matto3o, which I love.

Matto3o said he sold keycaps with this coloring in 2014.
It seems to be like a reappearance for the first time in about 11 years, using his newly created PBS profile.
It seems to be based on the old SGI Granite keyboard, which has a light and dark gray base with blue and red colored keycaps as nice accents.

A keycap set for 40% or less is also available, which is a nice feature for Japanese.

They also have colorful accent keycaps.

The PBS profile does not differ in slope from row to row, so the accent color keycaps can be used in any position.
This looks promising.
