Sales of Halo V2 IO Edition Announced｜Existing users may take a wait-and-see approach.

On September 10, 2025, NuPhy updated its official X to announce the Halo V2-IO Edition.

Details have not been announced, but presumably the software used to change the keymap will be revamped from VIA to a board that supports NuPhy IO 2.0.

A $1.00 deposit is required to apply for the early bird special, and the balance is due at the time of purchase while receiving the special.

The benefits are as follows

There is no doubt that NuPhy IO is more intuitive and easier to use when it comes to keymap changes, but in terms of keymap changes alone, there is not much difference from what can be done in VIA.

As for those who own Halo v2 series, I have the impression that many of them will not be able to use it this time.
