On June 4, 2024, Awekeys Japan updated its official X to announce the addition of homed keycaps to the Full Metal Keycaps set, which has been announced to begin in July.
The keycap set will be available in two types, “with engraving” and “without engraving,” but the keycap with homing will be added only to the “without engraving” set.
There is no price change for this addition.
The addition of keycaps with homing, which are essential for daily touch-typing users, makes the “no engraving” set more and more attractive to heavy users.
On the other hand, if you want to add homing on the regular “with engraving” side, the keyboard marking stickers developed and sold by Mr. GIBSON are useful.
KawamuraI also use Doys and other sets that do not have keycaps with homing.
Since it is sealed, it can be easily removed if desired.
If you want to add the homing yourself, you can add a drop of resin and let it cure, or you can easily make your own keycaps with homing using the seal method.
