On August 18, 2026, Cerakey launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the “Maris 60 HE,” a magnetic switch mechanical keyboard.

The 48-hour limited pricing starts at $99 for the Metal Edition, which features a die-cast aluminum case, and $209 for the Pro Ceramic Edition, featuring a full ceramic case.
Users who made a $2 VIP reservation in advance can back the Metal Edition for $89 and the Pro Ceramic Edition for $199.

What stood out most during the hands-on was the unique texture of using ceramic for both the case and keycaps, as well as the dual-layer hollow structure that flows from the sides to the bottom.
As a magnetic keyboard, it supports an 8,000Hz polling rate, up to 64kHz scanning, and Rapid Trigger adjustments in 0.01mm increments.
On the other hand, there are a few points to consider before purchasing:
60% layout omits dedicated arrow keys
Exclusively for USB wired connection
The front height is relatively high, so using a palm rest is recommended
The opening around the USB Type-C port is narrow, which may cause interference with thicker connectors
Replacement options for magnetic switches are currently limited
As a ceramic product, there are individual variations in glaze and patterns

The highlight of this release is undoubtedly the opportunity to back the full ceramic model starting at just $209.
The existing Peak60 HE is typically priced at $299; in a simple comparison, the 48-hour limited price for the Maris 60 Pro Ceramic Edition is set about $90 lower.
Rather than being a high-end successor that drastically upgrades the magnetic performance of the Peak60 HE, the Maris 60 HE feels more like a reconfiguration of Cerakey’s ceramic keyboard concept with a new case design and price point.
Given that the specs are similar to the previous model but the aesthetics have been updated and the new product is more affordable, there is a strong case for choosing the Maris 60 HE.
Additionally, the Metal Edition can be backed starting at $99.
While the case is die-cast aluminum, there is no difference in the Cerakey V4 ceramic keycaps or the magnetic input performance.
As a complete magnetic keyboard equipped with ceramic keycaps, it stands out as a highly competitive product.
