How cute!
Designed and developed by Jezail Funder, the LCK Profile Keycap is a low-profile keycap that fits well with low-profile key switches.
It has a flat profile whose slope does not change from row to row, and is characterized by a slight circular depression in the center.
We will be reviewing the Chosfox x LCK Retro Mahjong Keycap Set, a collaboration with the keyboard brand Chosfox.

Chosfox x LCK Retro Mahjong Keycap Set Review
Let’s take a look at the actual photos of the Chosfox x LCK Retro Mahjong Keycap Set.
The set provided this time is an ALLIN ONE set.

It is in a 5-tier stack box.
It is also nice to see that the case color matches the keycap.

This type of case has really increased since 2025.

The glossy look makes it look like ABS at first glance, but this was also described as a PBT material.

The printing is sublimation printing, and the letters do not seem to fade so easily.

Italics are used throughout the font to create a speedy appearance.

The coloring of the accent color is also very beautiful.
It accentuates the pop.

Here is a full view of the ALLIN ONE kit.

As for the MOD key, a cute point is that the small size is an icon.

Mod keycaps for sizes 1u and larger are alphabetized.
It is nice to see that it is designed to work on Mac as well as Windows.
It is also great that they offer white as well as gray.

Because it is a flat profile, the LCK profile’s ability to accommodate a wide range of keyboard layouts, including the less common 40% or less kits and column-staggered layout keyboards, is a major attraction of the LCK profile.

40s ergo kits were also available.
Personally, I would have liked to see more keycap variations in the accent color green.

Let’s look at key profiles.
As shown here, it has a spherical structure with a depressed center, so that the fingers are firmly positioned in the center of the key tops despite the flat profile.

The skirt is also made deeper, but did not interfere with the plate even with Choc v2 series switches and Gateron LP 3.0.

The 19mm pitch keyboard is just barely spaced to the left and right.

The sidewalls are of standard thickness and the axis is MX compatible cross style.

Let’s take a look at how it is actually attached to the keyboard.
In this case, we used “Gravity45” released by Greenkeys.
It is compatible with Gateron LP3.0 and Choc v2, and the fit of both switches can be checked.

The Gateron LP3.0 seems to fit more snugly on each keyswitch.
As for Choc v2, the fit seemed a bit tight.

As you can see, the skirt is quite close to the edge of the line, but there is no contact with the switch plate.
The keyswitch is well hidden and looks good.

The height when mounted was also nearly identical for the Gateron LP3.0 and Choc v2.

You can clearly see that it is flat from the side.

These flat profiles are personally easier to type on if the keyboard body is sloped.

I can’t get enough of this clean look.

Summary|Keycap set that low-profile lovers should have

This is my review of the Chosfox x LCK Retro Mahjong Keycap Set.
We expect to see even more excitement as new low-profile mechanical keyboards are released in 2025.
Until now, the NuPhy Air series has been the most famous low-profile mechanical keyboard, but Lofree’s release of the “Flow” with newly developed Choc v2 key switches was an explosive hit, and the Choc v2 standard Low-profile mechanical keyboards are now in vogue.
NuPhy also supports Gateron LP3.0 and is showing momentum in catching up.
This keycap set is the perfect way to “add more pop” to such a popular low-profile mechanical keyboard.
At this time, there is no lineup at zFrontier, the provider, and it appears to be available at Chosfox.
If you like it, please give it a try.
