Ekam Vahini is an artisan keycap created by keycap/keyboard creator Renno Murasaki.
The design on the top surface is based on the outline of the “Ekam” keyboard, which was created when the “Akasha” Lotus sequence keyboard was developed.
The material used is titanium, and each piece is individually polished and baked to a uniform color.
I was given the opportunity to use it and would like to review what it is like.

Ekam Vahini – Titanium Artisan Key Cap
Ekam means “first” in Sanskrit.
Murasaki’s keyboard-related naming often comes from Sanskrit, and this “Ekam Vahini” probably comes from Sanskrit as well.

This is just my guess, so please ask him for details!
The Sanskrit word “Vahini” means “that which flows” or “mediates” or “conveys.

There seems to be a deep background in this work as well.
Let’s take a look at Ekam Vahini’s photos.
An impressive pattern is engraved on the key top in a soft outline reminiscent of flower petals.

The chassis, polished to a mirror-like surface, is a work of art, and those who own one are likely to be captivated by its beautiful luster.

The pale titanium blue color, which may have been added by baking, combined with the pattern on the top, seems to evoke a cosmic grandeur.

The photo was taken side by side with Ekam of the same model.
In this way, it looks good as an artisan keycap for white keyboards as well as dark ones.

Let’s take a look at how it looks on the Gravity45 aluminum edition, which is available for pre-order until September 24, 2025.

The metallic texture and harmony of the machined aluminum case is beautiful, and the glossy Ekam Vahini looks very appealing in contrast to the matte-toned body.

I would like to have this.

summary

These are just a few of the fascinating facts about Ekam Vahini.
I never imagined that a titanium keycap could be transformed into such a beautiful work of art through polishing… I am simply amazed.
You can see the production process at Murasaki’s X, so please take a peek.
