Jezail Funder Japan began offering the LAK Unmarked Keycap Set as a new keycap set on September 22, 2025.

Since it is unmarked, it offers a high degree of layout flexibility and can be used as a replacement keycap for Lofree Flow Lite JIS depending on the combination with other keycaps.

This article will review the LAK unmarked keycap set.

Jezail Funder LAK Unmarked Keycap Set Overview

The LAK unmarked keycap set consists of the following two types

LAK Unmarked Key Caps

• 75s Kit-4,180 yen (tax included)
• Space Kit-1,540 yen (tax included)

The 75s Kit is compatible with low-profile mechanical keyboards with ANSI layouts below the typical 80% TKL.

The most famous low-profile mechanical keyboards with ANSI layout are Lofree and NuPhy.

As for the Space Kit, it contains Convex keys of various sizes and is ideal for low-profile Alice layout keyboards such as the Keychron K11 MAX and K15MAX, or for those who want to build their own keyboards in the LAK profile.

Also, by purchasing at the same time as the LAK key cap color (100 yen (tax included)/piece), you can add an extra color.

In addition, when combined with the separately sold “LAK Keycap Non-Imprinted (100 yen (tax included)/piece)”, which is sold separately, it can be used with most ANSI keyboards and special sequence keyboards.

Let’s take a look at the Jezail Funder LAK unmarked keycap set.

We were provided a sample of a single keycap (1u size) for accents and a single ISO Enter in addition to the 75s Kit/Space Kit.

It comes in a special plastic tray with the brand logo.

It is a well-known saying in Japan that “white has 200 colors,” but the white used at LAK is a “pure blue-ish white” with a high color temperature.

This tray contains keycaps of various mod key sizes.

The last tray contains the Space Kit and single keycaps.

LAK keycaps currently sold individually come in three colors: yellow-green, blue, and orange.

The colors are very crisp.

As for ISO Enter, it was vacuum packed separately.

They also have a tray that ISO Enter will be in.

Let’s look at the shape of the keycap.

LAK keycaps are characterized by the “cylindrical” shape of the keycaps, which are horizontal cylinders like this one, with the key tops cut out in an arched shape.

There is no difference in vertical slant from row to row.

You can see that even the ISO Enter, which has the widest top surface, has a slight cylindrical shape.

On the other hand, the space bar included in the Space Kit has a convex shape.

Similarly, compare with Lofree’s low-profile keycaps adopted from Flow2, which have a cylindrical shape and no difference in slope from row to row.

As for the top surface area, Lofree in its normal shape is larger.

On the other hand, the LAK profile, which looks like a smaller keycap on a square base, has a narrower top surface.

Viewed from the side, the Flow2 keycap appears to have a slightly stronger arched arch.

Let’s actually attach it to the keyboard.

We will start by looking at Flow2 as a comparison.

In this case, only the arrow key is replaced, but all of them can be replaced.

Although the area of the top surface is different, it is the same cylindrical shape, so there is no discrepancy at all if it is only replaced as an accent.

NuPhy Air75v3 JIS was then replaced.

The original keycaps on this one are spherical (depressed toward the center), but since they can be replaced except for the space bar, there may not be that much discomfort.

Finally, let’s replace Lofree Flow LITE JIS.

Flow LITE JIS can replace all 75s Kit and Space Kit in combination because the space bar is 2u/2.25u size.

If we replace everything, it will look like this.

It looks quite refreshing.

The default keycap has a spherical shape, but the LAK keycap has a cylindrical shape, so it looks like Flow2.

The uniform bow shape is beautiful.

The space bar also has a solid convex shape (raised) when viewed this way.

Also, adding an accent keycap changes the impression considerably.

The fact that it is unmarked means that it is definitely a product for experts, but if it can be turned into such a clean looking keyboard, there is no harm in buying it to try it out.
