On April 12, 2024, Keyreative updated its official X to announce the start of shipping the Ortho Kit of the KAT Operator, which had been available for pre-order since March 28, and the 40s Kit, which was later made available for pre-order.

We expect that it will probably take about a week to arrive in Japan, and arrival will likely be next week.

Actually, I don’t have a sample on hand this time, so I am waiting for it to arrive with you all.

KAT Operator was designed by “biip,” who has worked extensively on keycap designs.

Until then, Keyreative had only handled the Base Kit, but with the input of this site, we launched the Ortho Kit.

Later, 40s Kit was also released.

As for the Ortho Kit and 40s Kit, they are rare key sets that meet the niche needs of not only Corne and other 1u-intensive keyboards, but also, when combined with the 40s Kit, 30% keyboards with QAZ layout.
