The Nape Pro is a bar-shaped trackball jointly developed by GIZMODO Japan and Keychron.

It is designed to sit in front of the keyboard near the spacebar, or to either side, so you can move the cursor without moving your hand far from your typing position.

Recently, the Japan-exclusive Nape Pro SE has been offered as a color variant through a crowdfunding campaign.

Greenkeys Has Also Reviewed the Retail Version

After evaluating a pre-production prototype, Greenkeys purchased the retail version and reviewed its size, operation, scroll ring, and placement relative to a keyboard.

The review also covers handling the small ball and placement considerations, such as potential interference with the spacebar when the device is positioned in front of a low-profile keyboard.

Check Shipping Times and Conditions Before Buying

At the time of checking, the global product page displayed an “Add to cart” button along with a notice that orders would ship once back in stock.

Before ordering, check whether delivery to Japan is available, the shipping cost, the total price including taxes, and the shipping timeframe.

For purchases in Japan, Keychron.jp is the recommended option.

For global sales information, Keychron’s official Nape Pro product page has the details.
