On August 13, 2024, Lofree updated its official X, with a post suggesting the release of a model that would become “FLOW Lite”.
The posts are accompanied by text such as “New Release? Yes!” and “LITE? Yes!” and are presumably preparing a derivative version of the low-profile mechanical keyboard “Flow” that has been a big hit.
With its gasket-mounted construction and innovative keyswitches, Flow has achieved a different level of key feel and sound despite its low profile, so there are high expectations for the low-cost version.
In Japan, there have been scattered comments that the Ghost keyswitches are “a bit heavy” in terms of pressing pressure, so we are very much looking forward to seeing what the new keyswitches will be like and whether they will support keymap changes.
