PBS Aperture Priority Keycap Set Review

Let’s take a look at the PBS Aperture Priority Keycap Set using actual photos.

This is the kind of packaging.

The combination of the retro yellow exterior and black letters is reminiscent of film packaging.

To make it easy to open, there is a semi-circular depression at the top.

And really, this packaging is excellent.

At a glance, you can tell it’s a camera-like keycap set.

The keycap case is of the stacked type, and the words “CANNONKEYS” can be read on the package.

Keyreative is in charge of manufacturing.

The key tray is divided into three tiers, each containing a different type of key, such as alpha-based, mod, and numpad.

Alpha Kit.

The square font, which seems to match the rectangle of the viewfinder, is impressive, and the yellow and green print accents are in very good taste.

There are also two types of ISO Enter.

Trays centered around the MOD key.

A series of icons that make the camera early, such as the flash symbol (lightning symbol) and illuminance (sunny symbol).

As for the profile, it is a “flat profile” with no difference in slope from row to row, indicating a spherical design with a depression toward the center.

On the other hand, it is interesting to note the cylindrical shape with respect to the long horizontal keys.

Another difference from the norm is that many of the mod keys, especially those used on the bottom row, have a convex shape.

The fact that sublimation printing is applied to the convex without any problems is another example of Keyreative’s high level of technical skill.

Let’s look at each keycap individually.

The key tops are quite tightly sloped, but sublimation printing is applied without blotches.

Each color is well defined and crisp.

The back of the keycap is white.

In other words, the base color of the PBS profile is “white” and sublimation printing is applied to it to produce this tint.
