What is the “Berry” on the Godzilla keycap?
As for the Godzilla keycap set, the keycap set was released in November 2024.
I knew that Godzilla is a bit tricky when it comes to copyrights, so I checked with KeyTok about the copyright issue and they said they have been in contact with Toho to clear it up.
The Godzilla copyright issue is quite well known, so if you are interested, please click here.
This is a bit off topic, but the November “Godzilla” was intended for general Cherry MX compatible keyswitches.
However, Godzilla, which bears this Berry, is a “sloped low-profile key cap” to my surprise.
The height of the lowest part of the Cherry is 6.5 mm, while the Berry is 4.8 mm lower!
Perhaps the name Berry was also adopted because it is a “fruit” and “has the same word sense” after the profile name Cherry.
As you can see, the back is very low, yet it is firmly sloped in each row!
- Keycap Profile:Berry

The material is PBT, the printing is 5-sided dye-sublimation printing, the number of keys is a whopping 173, and there seems to be a variation on the space bar.
Godzilla was probably chosen because it is catchy and appealing to foreign audiences.
This raises expectations about WoB and BoW later on!
20% off now during the Christmas & New Year Sale!
While most low-profile keycaps are not sloped, Berry’s Cherry-like step-sculptured design will make typing more comfortable.
This is a buy.
