This indentation is so addictive.

LowSup-Ocean Blue Keycaps is a low-profile keycap set sold by LeleDesign.

This 134-key keycap set is based on an English keyboard layout and features a refreshing light blue color reminiscent of the ocean.

What particularly stood out to me in this review was the “top surface shape.”

Despite its spherical design (which is concave toward the center), it wasn’t too deep, so typing felt smooth.

My Impressions After Actually Using It

Here are the six things I noticed after actually using the LeleDesign LowSup-Ocean Blue Keycaps Set:

  • A top surface that isn’t too deep is best.
  • A texture that feels comfortable in your hands
  • Old-Style Mac Font Design
  • A wide range of spacebar sizes to accommodate special layouts
  • Affordable pricing
  • I’d really like some unmarked keycaps that support custom layouts.

A top surface that isn’t too deep is best.

What I like most about the LeleDesign LowSup-Ocean Blue Keycaps is the shape of the top surface.

With these spherical keycaps, the indentation on the top surface is inevitably quite deep, and personally, I sometimes find it difficult to move my finger to the adjacent key.

Since I usually type by letting my fingers glide across the keys, I tend to do this even more.

On the other hand, I was impressed by how smoothly I could type with the LeleDesign LowSup-Ocean Blue Keycaps, thanks to their shallow profile.

A texture that feels comfortable in your hands

Lele ocean lp11

The LeleDesign LowSup-Ocean Blue Keycaps are made of PC material.

The surface has a semi-matte finish, which minimizes friction and feels very comfortable to the touch.

It also pairs well with the shallow top surface mentioned above, and I got the impression that it would be easy to use for players who prefer a gliding stroke.

Old-Style Mac Font Design

The UV-printed text features a font design reminiscent of the classic Mac.

I really like how stylish it is, including the parts in italics.

A wide range of spacebar sizes to accommodate special layouts

Lele ocean lp22

The LeleDesign LowSup-Ocean Blue Keycaps come with several keycaps that aren’t typically used.

While its use depends on the specific application, it may be usable with layouts such as the Alice layout or custom keyboards featuring special key layouts.

The price of the LeleDesign LowSup-Ocean Blue Keycaps is listed as $39.90 on the official website.

At an exchange rate of 160 yen to the dollar, that comes to about 6,400 yen—its affordable price is certainly one of its appealing features.

In Japan, this product is available for purchase at DIGIART. The price includes import costs and distributor fees. Use the coupon code “ryo10” to get 10% off.

I’d like to get some unmarked keycaps that support custom layouts.

A major advantage of the LeleDesign LowSup-Ocean Blue Keycaps is that they come with keycaps in various sizes to accommodate special layouts.

On the other hand, the package does not include keycaps of the type commonly used on specialty keyboards, including 1u convex keycaps.

Since this profile features a uniform slope across all rows, this keycap set would be even better if it came with versatile, unmarked keycaps.

Summary | Who Are the LeleDesign LowSup-Ocean Blue Keycaps Best Suited For?

Lele ocean lp7

That concludes our short review of the LeleDesign LowSup-Ocean Blue Keycaps.

This is ideal for anyone using a low-profile keyboard with an English layout who wants to replace the entire set of keycaps—especially those who don’t like deep key wells.

While it comes with 134 keys and offers a choice of multiple space bar sizes, it does not include 1U convex keys or unmarked keys.

If you’re using a keyboard with a non-standard layout, you’ll want to check the shape and labeling of the keys you need.

In addition, LeleDesign appears to be considering adding new variations to the LowSup series, and we eagerly await the release of the new green-based model, “Forest Grey.”
