A white color option has been added to Keychron’s Q11 Ultra 8K split keyboard.
Greenkeys OfficeI noticed it in a post by Yamacafe.
The price listed on Keychron’s global official store is US$239.99.
The Q11 Ultra 8K has mainly been shown in black, but now there’s a color option that’s an easy fit for anyone looking to match a white-themed desk.
Keychron Q11 Ultra 8K | A 75% Model with Wireless Connectivity Between the Two Halves
The Q11 Ultra 8K is a split keyboard whose two halves can sync wirelessly over 2.4 GHz.
Since no cable is needed to connect the halves, it’s easy to position them apart to suit your hand placement.
It connects to a PC via USB-C, 2.4 GHz, or Bluetooth, and supports polling rates of up to 8,000 Hz over a wired or 2.4 GHz connection.
| Item | Key Specifications |
|---|---|
| Layout | 75%, split, with knob |
| Connection between halves | 2.4 GHz wireless sync |
| PC connection | USB-C wired / 2.4 GHz / Bluetooth |
| Polling rate | Wired / 2.4 GHz: up to 8,000 Hz |
| Case | CNC aluminum |
| Keycaps | KSA profile, double-shot PBT |
| Switches | Keychron Silk POM Switch |
| Switch replacement | Hot-swappable |
| Firmware / configuration | ZMK / Keychron Launcher |
Greenkeys OfficeIt’s pretty exciting that the halves connect over a proprietary 2.4 GHz standard rather than Bluetooth.
I suspect the proprietary 2.4 GHz connection may also speed up communication between the two halves.
However, support for up to 8,000 Hz when connected to a PC doesn’t tell us the communication interval or latency between the halves.
The white option we spotted has been added as a color variant on the same Q11 Ultra 8K product page.
In the official images, the white case is paired with white and dark gray keycaps, with red-toned accents on Esc and Enter.
It’s a color scheme that should be especially welcome for owners of white desks.
A New Color Worth Checking Alongside Our Earlier Coverage
