On May 6, 2023, Keychron updated its official Twitter page to announce the release of the new Keychron Q3 Pro.

The release date is May 8, 2023 local time.

From the images, it appears that the Q3 has a large rotary knob and four macro buttons on the left side, which is very different in appearance from the existing Q3.

Also, the keytop shape seems to have a larger central depression and looks more like Drop’s MT3 profile…doesn’t it?

The fact that the Q series bears the “Pro” designation means that it probably also supports wireless connectivity.

This is the third Pro in the Q series, following the Q1 Pro andQ2 Pro. Once again, Keychron’s speed in introducing new products is astonishing.

Let’s wait for further information.

PS

The left row, which I was interested in, was still the rotary encoder and macro switch.

Also, the shape of the keycaps appears to have been a new profile, the KSA profile.

As for colors, in addition to the standard carbon black, olive green and silver gray are available.

Olive green, in particular, is likely to be popular, as it is the first coloring of its kind in recent years.

Prices are $194.00 for bare bones and $214.00 for fully assembled.

There are three types of keyswitches to choose from: Keychron Kpro Red, Brown, and Banana.
