On March 28, 2024, homebrew keyboard maker takashicompany updated its official X to announce the resumption of the miniDivide.
Sales will begin at 7:00 p.m. on March 29, 2024.
The number of copies is “limited,” so those wishing to purchase one are urged to do so before they are sold out.
(Only the kit is available for purchase, and the acrylic plate must be ordered separately from Yousha Kobo. Assembly also requires preparation of parts such as key switches, which require soldering. Keycaps are also sold separately, see the purchase page for details).
miniDivide is a column-staggered layout keyboard with left-right division and 16mm pitch.
It also supports full wireless connectivity, and its compact looks and portability made it very popular, selling out even at the Kiket.
With the release of Silent Linear’s Choc V1 coming in April, you should definitely have one.
