On August 8, 2026, Chosfox updated their official X account, releasing the fifth teaser for their new keyboard.
“Every rule has a reason. Every change starts with a question. What if?”
Accompanying this comment is a video or image showing the keyboard being slammed down to the left.
KawamuraHmm… what exactly does this mean?
This particular image is quite intriguing.

Don’t the keys visible from the side look slightly longer than usual?
If it were an ortholinear board, every key should be 1u, but this suggests it might actually be a 40% row-staggered layout.
The indentation in the top left also looks like it could be a strap hole.
When it comes to in-stock 40% low-profile keyboards with aluminum cases, NiuNiu’s [@40] comes to mind, though that model has already been discontinued.

As mentioned in the Geonix Rev.2.5 review, Chosfox is a welcome presence in the very niche market of in-stock 40% layout keyboards.

This is certainly something to look forward to.
