On June 13, 2024, Kopec Japan, the authorized distributor of Keychron in Japan, successively announced the release of Keychron Q3 Max and Keychron V1 Max at the official X

Keychron V Max is positioned between the inexpensive entry-level K series and the high-spec Q series.

Compared to higher-end models, the body is made of ABS resin material instead of aluminum, but it is an excellent cost-performance model with a sound-absorbing mechanism and gasket mounting mechanism and a low price.

The 75% layout V1 Max is certified as a “Max” product and is technically certified, allowing for wireless connectivity in Japan.

At this time, only the US layout is available, but the Japanese layout is also displayed on the official store, so it is expected to go on sale soon.

Keychron Q3 Max is the highest series of 80% tenkeyless layouts.

The aluminum body with gasket mount x multiple layers of sound-absorbing material boasts a high-end feel among Keychron’s products.

The new model is a departure from previous products with Japanese-language layouts, as it uses double-shot PBT material keycaps, and has been picked up by a well-known YouTube personality, making it a highly topical product.

Another feature of this machine is that it has an “ideal Japanese layout” with no cramped right shift and “ro” or 1u or more right space when the English layout is used as the Japanese layout.
